Director of Instruction | Don Connolly Golf Academy
With over 25 years of experience at Riverside Country Club, Don Connolly is a highly respected leader in golf instruction and player development. After earning his degree in Golf Course Management, Don joined Riverside as Assistant Professional in 1998, where he spent years honing his craft under the guidance of his mentor, Jim Connolly.
A Class “A” Professional with the PGA of Canada since 2008, Don is also Level 2 certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). This advanced training allows him to take a performance-based approach to coaching, helping golfers improve by understanding how their body moves and functions throughout the swing.
Don was named Head Professional at Riverside in 2016, a role that reflects both his expertise and his deep connection to the club. Known for his approachable style and passion for teaching, Don works with players of all levels, from beginners to competitive golfers, with a particular focus on developing junior players and fostering a lifelong love of the game.
In 2021, Don launched the Don Connolly Golf Academy, expanding his ability to deliver personalized, high-impact instruction both on and off the course.
Don lives locally with his wife Tracey and their two children, Kenzie and Cas.
